Day One
We started our initial filming process at school filming the scenes of the main subject getting build in the corridor. These scenes were filmed after school had finished thus allowing use to have a longer shot of an empty corridor. These scenes were shot in the maths corridor and were unfortunately interrupted multiple times by staff crossing between maths and english. This lead to the shots having to be redone multiple times. One other scene was filmed this day and it was one one not involving the subject in the most part and was more focused on the items that he would be using. These scenes were very straight forwards and were easily and quickly filmed. Day Two The second day of filming took place at Cameron's house and these were the scenes that involved the subject being at home and away from school and bullying. This scenes involved the scenes in which the subject woke up, searching through belongings, leaving his house and going to sleep. This scenes had to be refilled a few times due to the camera operator walking into things when walking backwards for a tracking shot. Day Three The third day of filming was mostly filming a time lapse of a sun rise in the morning so didn't require much attention when set up. The camera was setup on a tripod on the lower portion of the roof of my house facing outward towards the sky. This went well in the most part other than the fact it was left on for a very long time meaning it took a lot of pictures and took a while to transfer the images and render them. Day Four On the forth day i spend the day editing the different clips for the video together and rendering the time lapse. I used Sony Vegas Pro to edit both the time lapse and the final edit, I did this because at the time it was the software i was most familiar with and felt that i could produce the best video with. I used a variety of editing techniques within Vegas including cut, cross fading, and manipulating the speed and altering frames of the video. After finalising the video i rendered out the video into a HD mp4 format ready to be uploaded to youtube.
